Top 5 Theme Parks Apps on Android in Austria: Q2 2023 Performance

During the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 theme park apps on the Android platform in Austria demonstrated varied trends in downloads and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Disneyland® Paris saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at around 455 in early April and experiencing a dip to approximately 145 later in the month. By the end of June, downloads stabilized around 167. The app's weekly active users also showed a similar trend, starting at 525 at the end of March and reaching a high of 735 in early April before gradually decreasing to 370 by the end of June.

Europa-Park & Rulantica experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 337 in early June before a slight drop to 178 by the end of the month. Active users mirrored this trend, rising from 131 at the end of March to 349 in early June, then settling at 192 by the end of June.

Gardaland Express showed a notable spike in weekly downloads, particularly mid-quarter, reaching 279 in mid-May. However, downloads tapered off towards the end of June, with numbers around 81.

The Gardaland Resort Official App also exhibited growth in downloads, with a peak of 204 in mid-May and a subsequent decline to 95 by late June. Active users demonstrated a similar pattern, starting at 61 at the end of March, peaking at 161 in mid-May, and then stabilizing at 97 by the end of June.

Lastly, Universal Studios Japan had relatively modest download numbers, peaking at 50 in early April and ending the quarter with 17. The app's active users showed a gradual increase from 54 at the end of March to 98 in early April, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at 73 by late June.
